On January 12, hackers stole about 6 million US dollars of assets from Lendhub. The Lendhub team has contacted the SlowMist security team and several mainstream exchanges to track the incident.

After the hacker obtained 100 ETH from Tornado Cash on January 12, he used several platforms (including TransitSwap, Multichain, Uniswap, Curve, and Optimism Bridge) to cross-chain or exchange the funds. This allowed him to attack and profit from the Heco chain. So far, the hacker has transferred 1,100 ETH to Tornado Cash in 11 transactions and around 100 ETH to Uniswap V3.
The security team at SlowMist will keep an eye on this incident while the precise motive for the attack is still being investigated.

The DeFi lender has stated that it will investigate the circumstances of the incident, the whereabouts of the hacker, and the whereabouts of the funds, and that it will use every means at its disposal to track down the stolen goods and make good on any losses. Users of the community will be informed as soon as changes and enhancements are made.
The year 2022 was a particularly difficult one for cryptocurrencies. Such that there were both widespread hacking incidents against cryptocurrency platforms and rapid price increases on the one hand. These events appear to have continued during the first part of this year.
