The well-known developer expressed disbelief, amazement, and queries about why he couldn't reach anyone at the FBI or IC3 after learning of the heist.

However, according to Dashjr, a sizable amount appears to have been transmitted to 1YAR6opJCfDjBNdn5bV8b5Mcu84tv92fa using the CoinJoin mixing service. The exact amount of lost Bitcoin is currently unknown.
One of the most knowledgeable people in the cryptocurrency sector, Dashjr, came to social media to solicit help. It's possible that the amount of Bitcoin is withheld for private reasons.
The fact that the long-time developer of the Bitcoin core still had his coins acted as a sobering lesson to the cryptocurrency community. One could argue that even a skilled someone like Dashjr could lose his possessions; the user is not guaranteed anything.
Others assert that Dashjr is lying because it is unclear how much Bitcoin was taken.
Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the CEO of Binance, also commented on Dashjr's post. He stated:
"I'm sorry you lost so much. notified our security team to keep an eye on. If it approaches us, we'll freeze it. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to be of assistance. We frequently work with LEs and have connections all around the world."
Additionally, CZ stated that he would try his hardest to assist and that there are more than 200 bitcoins available.
Sad to see even an OG #Bitcoin Core Developer lost 200+ BTC ($3.5 million). Self custody have a different set of risks.
