Key Ideas:
- The Nouns NFT idea has already appeared in a Super Bowl commercial and an indie film.
- Owners of Nouns have the ability to vote on proposals to use the project's treasury, which at the moment holds around $32.7 million worth of ETH, to support activities that further the project's objective of producing open-source IP.
- Decentralized autonomous organizations, or DAOs, are online communities of people working toward a shared goal. Possession of blockchain tokens is frequently used to establish membership.
The Nouns NFT idea has already appeared in a Super Bowl commercial and an indie film. The idea to have the pixel figures and their boxy glasses (or Noggles) march in the Rose Parade the following week was subsequently authorized and supported by the Nouns DAO.
On January 2, 2023, Pasadena, California will play host to the 134th Rose Parade, which will feature six costumed figures and a float with a Nouns theme. Before the Penn State-Utah college football game in the Rose Bowl, a parade is held.
Buddy Stoodios, the production company for the TV shows "Robot Chicken" and "Marvel's M.O.D.O.K.," presented the idea to the Nouns community of NFT holders in April. The NFT enthusiast and co-founder of the studio suggested creating the parade float and costumes and filming the entire event for a documentary.
What if we told you these 6 nouns are the least ridiculous things about the āMeet the Nounsā float at the @RoseParade this year?

Nouns is a new Ethereum-based company that offers one NFT pixel character per day, with all earnings going to a collective fund. Owners of Nouns have the ability to vote on proposals to use the project's treasury, which at the moment holds around $32.7 million worth of ETH, to support activities that further the project's objective of producing open-source IP.
As was already reported, a Bud Light Super Bowl commercial and limited-edition cans both included the Nouns glasses. Nouns will also appear in the independent film "Calladita," and the DAO has backed initiatives including actual Noggles, Web3 education initiatives, and a New York Fashion Week appearance.
In this case, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios asked the DAO for about 610 ETH to help with the expense of making the parade float, costumes, and movie in June. The investment was worth over $1.1 million when the application was granted on June 1, despite the fact that 610 ETH now only have a value of about $723,000 due to Ethereum's declining value.
Decentralized autonomous organizations, or DAOs, are online communities of people working together for a shared goal. Possession of blockchain tokens is frequently used to establish membership. To participate in the Nouns DAO in this scenario, one of the NFTs must be owned. Holders are given one vote per NFT on community proposals.
