The Metaverse and Web3.0 Alliance was officially launched by Huawei Cloud, the cloud infrastructure, with the initial round of partners including Blockchain Solutions, Deepbrain Chain, Polygon, and Morpheus Labs.

The blockchain platform's CEO, Pei-Han, announced the platform's Web3 partnership with Huawei Cloud on February 23:

Huawei Cloud APAC announced its plans to improve its partner ecosystem during the APAC Partner Leadership Conference 2023, with the theme "Go Together, Grow Together," which was held in Bali, Indonesia, from February 23 to 24.

Reporter Collin Wu stated that "some of the projects have a negative reputation" in a thread on his personal Twitter account, Wu Blockchain, in reference to Huawei Cloud's announcement:

Similar to this, China's Tencent Cloud, a provider of cloud services, declared its full entry into Web3, announcing its partnership with blockchain platforms including Ankr, Avalanche, Scroll, and Sui.

Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud International, made the following interesting remarks on the platform's emphasis on providing "strong technical support of Web3":

"With a transparent digital future ahead, Tencent cloud is prepared to,through its accumulated experience in the field of games, audio, and video, providestrong technical support for Web3. Tencent Cloud will cooperate with industry partners to offer more immersive experiences and cultivate the cultivate Web3 ecosystem."

Collin Wu has also tweeted on his Twitter profile with Tencent Cloud’s announcement on February 22, previous to his tweet about Huawei Cloud’s new alliances.
