On May 5, Com2uS said that it had made a strategic investment in the domestic blockchain business Factblock.
Since 2018, FactBlock has hosted "Korea Blockchain Week" (KBW), a blockchain conference, to provide a forum for knowledge exchange on blockchain technology and company development.
Through Fact Block investment, Com2uS develops commercial and technological interchange with domestic and international web3 professionals and fosters collaboration using the XPLA blockchain mainnet and Com2uS' Non-Fungible Token (NFT).
Song Jae-joon and Lee Ju-hwan, the co-CEOs of Com2us, declared the following in their New Year's speech:
“We will go beyond a game company that has led the Korean mobile game market and establish us as a globally representative comprehensive content company.”
They keep focusing on the international gaming market by releasing new games like "Summoners War: Chronicle" and "Com2uS Pro Baseball V22."
The competition in the gaming and content markets will intensify, they said, and "there are voices of caution towards the blockchain business and the metaverse due to numerous external variables, more work to produce enjoyment," they added.
“We will achieve game-specific results in the global media and content markets and lead the industry in transparent and trusted blockchains to create a truly diverse world, what everyone’s been waiting for.”
