Blocto, a multichain wallet sponsored by Mark Cuban, has announced a $3 million Aptos Ecosystem Fund with the intention of assisting in the onboarding of new Aptos customers. Along with funding initiatives, the Aptos fund will be used to assist remarkable ideas once they enter the "user acquisition phase."

Blocto's co-founder and CEO, Hsuan Lee, offered the following statement regarding the integration of his business with Aptos:

"We’ve been on the lookout for promising blockchain ecosystems with long-term potential, and Aptos has caught our attention. It aims to make blockchain accessible for average users — a big focus for us at Blocto — and has accumulated a lot of momentum in the dev community, even in the current market situation."

Only a small number of Aptos teams will have access to Blocto's "in-house and external investor base and financial marketing support," according to the announcement.

According to Mo Shaikh, co-founder and CEO of Aptos, the integration of Blocto into the Aptos ecosystem will improve the community's atmosphere.

Lee continued to comment on the launch by saying:

“Many from the Blocto team have been in the Web3 industry for several years already. We know this bearish market is the best time to build and refine products in preparation for the next wave of crypto adoption. Historically, those projects continuing development during downturns create the most impact when sentiment reverses.”

Following Blocto's recent integration with Aptos, which, according to reports, led to more than 300,000 people creating an Aptos wallet within the first week, the fund was just just announced.
